We are asking everyone of you to take a moment to visit www.SaveEyeCare.ca and put in your name, email and riding info (not required) to let the Ontario Government know that you value the work of your Optometrists. I know not everyone of you is covered by OHIP for eye care at this moment but your children might be, or your parents or a diabetic friend or someone with medical vision issues. I ask you to do this so Optometry can focus on taking care of those people now and into the future. COVID has made it even harder for some Optometrists to reopen as the added costs just further exacerbates the financial burden.We are simply asking for OHIP to recognize that Optometrists subsidizing 50% or more of eye care can’t continue and other options are necessary to ensure accessibility to good eye care in Ontario. #SaveEyeCare #oao #ontarioassociationofoptometrists #ohipeyexams #optometrist

$Seeing double, might be the result of a condition called double vision, also referred to as #diplopia #strabismus is the first possible cause for double vision. Meaning both eyes fail to work/coordinate together. The second being uncorrected refractive error. Meaning an object that is being viewed is split into two images. #Cataracts, uncorrected #astigmatisms, or #keratoconus may be the cause.
